Best Non Slip Dog Socks for Grip on Tile, Hardwood, and Laminate
Grip Around the Entire Paw So That Even If the Socks Twist Your Dog Is Protected!
Grippers™ are non-slip dog socks that give your senior dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile, laminate, or hardwood. Our dog socks not only help give your dog the traction and stability they need to prevent slips and falls, but they will restore your dog's confidence while navigating slippery floors. Sometimes something as simple as nonslip dog socks can be life-changing. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
Enhance Your Senior Dog’s Mobility with Non-Slip Dog Socks
Give your senior dog the comfort and support they need with Grippers, the premium non-slip dog socks designed specifically for older dogs with mobility challenges. Whether your dog struggles with slippery floors, arthritis, or general balance issues, our non-slip dog socks are here to help them move confidently around the house.
It is difficult for senior dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile, laminate, and hardwood and they can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable and natural feeling than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.
Provides a Natural Feeling for a Comfortable Fit
The more natural the footwear feels the more your dog will accept wearing it. Grippers dog socks are thin and flexible enough so senior dogs can still feel the floor with their paws helping them to quickly accept wearing the socks and enabling them to walk normally in them very quickly. Our dog socks will soften and stretch to conform to your dog's paw, fitting better the more they are worn.
Dog Socks for Senior Dogs of All Sizes
With a wide range of sizes, you will be able to find the perfect fit for your dog, big or small. Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point - please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 pounds or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
*PRO TIP* - If the fit is good but the socks are sliding down try putting some vet wrap around your dog's ankles before putting the socks on. This adds grip under the socks to better hold the socks in place. Total game changer!
Outdoor Use of Grippers Non-Slip Dog Socks
Our Grippers non-slip dog socks are designed for versatility, allowing your dog to enjoy the outdoors without the hassle of removing socks every time they step outside. Here’s how they can benefit your furry friend:
Waterproof Protection
Soft Rubber Coating: The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier, ensuring your dog's paws stay dry and protected during outdoor adventures.
Prevent Scuffing and Sores
Comfortable Fit: Our socks help protect your dog's paws from scuffing, which can occur when dogs with mobility issues are unable to lift their paws high enough and drag their toes as they walk. This helps prevent painful sores from forming on the tops of their toes, allowing your dog to explore comfortably without the risk of injury.
Defense Against Allergens
Barrier from Irritants: Grippers act as a barrier against allergens and irritants commonly found outdoors, such as fertilizers, pesticides, and grasses. This helps keep your dog's paws comfortable and irritation-free.
*Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Thank you! love your grippers, they have helped my dog, so much! I have a mini schnauzer. He was paralyzed when he was 3 years old, he had moved to this new home, the floors were slippery and he was playing ball, unfortunately he twisted his back and had a serious injury. After a long treatment of acupuncture, laser and rehabilitation he was able to walk, run and have a normal life again. I used different kinds of sock with grippers but found this ones work the best! He uses his grippers at home so he has more traction, grip and stability, of course play and run confidently. I recommend them 100%.

They don't stay in place in my dog
I have been looking for pull up socks that stay on my little dogs feet. I have a Min Pin and she's elderly and can't walk very well. I really was excited about these dog shoes/ socks. Unfortunately, like the other types of socks that I have purchased, these just don't stay in place no matter what I do. She's very small and I got the right size, but even the first time they were coming off her feet regardless of the strap that was going around her ankle.
Hi Kathryne,
Sorry to hear but I am very confident we can help resolve this. First of all, I would like to mention that the more your dog wears our socks the better they fit because they will soften and start molding to her paws. As for the Velcro, it is important to place the Velcro mid-way down on the ankle and not up at the top. And third, you can also roll the tops of the socks down to help them stay on better. If all that fails my last tip is to replace the Velcro with vet wrap. Just a small piece that you can wrap around to help them stay in place usually does the trick when all else fails and can be super cute since they come in all sorts of nice designs. And I am adding my all-time best tip! Instead of using the vet wrap on the outside try wrapping it around your dog's ankles before you put the socks on. By placing the socks over the vet wrap it will provide more inside grip to stop the socks from sliding. This works especially great on dogs like min pins, pugs, frenchies etc who have short fur which is quite slippery for the socks.
Please try these tips and let us know how it goes.
Thanks

Great product for petite dogs
I have a miniature poodle and measured 1.5 inches. I'm making them work but they are very short and the rubber part doesn't match the pad of the dog paw. The quality of the sock and rubber are great. Style is cute. These are great for indoor tile, the grip is good. Not intended for outdoor hot pavement or dog walks, which is fine, my needs are for an old dog whose feet slide out on tile surfaces. I highly recommend if you have a petite dog.

Sizing
Love the socks I purchased for my Rottweiler dog but found the size a bit small even though it was xxl. You may want to add bigger size to chose from.

Great for mobility, protection, healing, topical meds
My dog has a neuromuscular disorder that affects his back legs, he rolls his toes over when he walks which causes him to get sore and swollen toes. Vet recommended dog socks and topical ointment, and these are great. They are helpful keeping his feet dry outside, preventing him from feet licking, and hold up so well even with multiple times in washer/dryer. Also love these when my dog's toes/feet need ointment applied, just put the socks on and medication stays put with no frantic licking. He's very touchy about his feet and took him about 2 days to adjust to wearing socks but now he pays no attention to them. These do seem to run small, so I'd recommend sizing up. My dog is 40ish pounds and wears XL, the L fits him too but is very, very snug and harder to pull over his toes. I don't use the velcro straps. Instead I wrap self sticking bandage (it has a rubbery texture) around his leg around where the elastic sock band will grip, helps to keep them in place when he's active. Most durable, well made dog sock I've used and now part of our everyday routine.
